Truth, Lies and Deception
As we opened Season 3, during the 49th chapter of your favorite Podcast, your hosts conducted another end time conversation, with this one centered on Truth, Lies and Deception. The enemy of our souls attempts to blind us to truth that is the Word of God. He uses all means at his disposal, including the media, governments, and even the “church”.
When we understand that there is a veil over the unbeliever’s heart, as we read in 2 Corinthians 3:14-18 during this Episode, we will look for ways to be used by Holy Spirit to draw them to Jesus Christ. Truth isn’t fluid. Truth is the Word of God. There is no lie or deception in it. Take a listen to Episode 49, TSV Friends, and allow Holy Spirit to reveal his Truth to you.
- Define Truth as it relates to our Salvation and our entrance into the Body of Christ? — 12:40
- Identify 2 deceptions in the Church and the World we live in that attempts to mask the Truth that is the Word of God, and the Truth that exposes those deceptions? — 27:39
- Identify 2 lies that are spoken contrary to the Truth in the Church and the World we live in? — 44:59
- What do you do to stay in the Truth? — 1:03:01
The World will tell you that Truth is changing and that you can change it. If you prescribe to that position, the enemy of our souls will appeal to your iniquitous pride posture of pride keeping your heart filled with deception and lies. The first part of Malachi 3:6 says that I am the Lord and I change not. Jesus Christ doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday today and forever. He is Truth. Nothing changes it.
Your feelings don’t change it. Your bias or prejudice doesn’t change it. The culture doesn’t change it. Without the Truth there is no eternal life. Jesus Christ is the Truth. TSV community, the Hosts of your favorite podcast cannot reiterate this enough. Abiding in the Word of Truth and staying steadfast unto the end will allow us to see our salvation through the one who is full of Grace and Truth, Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. John 14:6 (NIV)
