The Truth About Gender & Sexuality – Part 2

“The Truth About Gender and Sexuality” Part 2 delved into the minutia, if you will, for building the proper framework to teach and then model the Truth about gender and sexuality in the familial home. We started this in Episode 57 where we re-presented the Truth from the Word of God by unequivocally stating that there are only two Genders as pre-determined by our Sovereign God, Male and Female.

Our 59th installment, Part 2, found us providing for you, our global audience, a high-level look within our households, that are at different stages of maturity and growth, respectively, and how we teach and model God’s truth concerning our genders and sexuality to our families. We also identified how the enemy of our souls attacks our sexuality, expanding upon why he does it that we answered in our first session, and concluded with answering the surprisingly controversial question of whether God has a gender, along with how he expresses himself within his Word, at times, using human personification.

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”

Continuing in the Truth is a choice made by the believer. It comes from a renewed mind that allows your conforming to the image of Christ. The initial, and ongoing, place for the Truth that is the Word of God to be planted into your hearts is in your home by your Father and Mother. That is the decree of our sovereign God. Genesis 18:19 KJV says:

“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”

These instruction in righteousness sessions, if you will, conducted by Husbands who are Fathers, will allow his family to identify the attacks on their gender and sexuality and how to stay in the truth concerning these sovereign distinctions. These eternal truths will allow you to view your gender and sexuality as functions of Gods purpose for you. They are not open for you execute as you see fit.

Synopsis

Our households are the training ground for our families to be instructed in the ways of righteousness. This is demonstrated by the husband who is a father, speaking and living out the whole Counsel of God, as directed by the Spirit of God. He does not do this of his own volition. The man has no power in and of himself to produce righteousness, nor can he prepare his family for attacks against their gender and sexuality if he has not yielded to the truth concerning it found in the Word of God.

For Men of God, your mandate here is simple yet profound. You must teach and then model before your family the Truth concerning Gender and sexuality. For Women of God, you have your mandate. Support and encourage these Truths being taught and lived out in the home by you and your husband. Children in the home, you have your mandate.

You must adhere to the whole counsel of God being taught and demonstrated in your home by your parents. The family home is the training ground for the Christian family to execute, in humility, these mandates. Our humble, submissive displays of obedience prevents access to your home by the enemy of our souls and positions all of those in the household to be fit for our Gods use in his kingdom

So as we roll into our concluding 3rd session on The Truth about Gender and Sexuality, remember and take heed to Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV):

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man.”
