EPSIODE 43

Stewardship in the Kingdom of God

The 43rd episode of your favorite podcast centered on the positional privilege of every believer in Jesus Christ, Stewardship in the Kingdom of God. As believers in Jesus Christ, we must look at Stewardship as a privilege and not a burden. It is also a position that comes with the new covenant we have with our God through belief and confession of his Son Jesus Christ.

God has given us a portion, if you will, of his Kingdom to manage for him in the earth. 1 Timothy 6:17-21 attests to this verity. Those scriptures also reference another point of emphasis from the show, the scripture in Matthew 6:33, to whom much is given much is required. The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.

Summary

As a believer you can be a faithful or an unfaithful steward, however, know that the unfaithful will be cut off from their stewarded position while the faithful will be given more to manage. For context, TSV family, review John 15:2 and the Parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30.

As you listen to this episode, allow Holy Spirit to renew your stewardship call and refresh you as to your purpose in the earth. During your devotional time with the scriptures listed above, please study our show notes from this episode as well, continuing your mind renewal to what it means to be a Steward in the Kingdom of God.

In this episode…

— Define Stewardship and how does that position relate to the Kingdom of God? [08:37]

  • As a Steward in the Kingdom of God, we have been given that privilege through belief and confession of Jesus Christ and is a part of the new covenant we have with God. As a Steward under the new covenant, and thus the Kingdom of God, we manage the resources God has given us as he directs. We allow God to write his commands into our hearts as apart of conforming to the image of his son, thus the beginning of our Kingdom stewardship training.
  •

— Let’s compare and contrast a Faithful and an Unfaithful Steward in Gods Kingdom. What does that look like in our everyday lives? [23:10]

  • The middle portion of our communion spoke to the differences between a Faithful and Unfaithful Steward in the Kingdom of God. Characteristics of each Steward were given by the Hosts. As directed by Holy Spirit, the hosts of your favorite podcasts gave brief, but impactful, insights into the life of John the Baptist, as his life and assignment by God to make way for the coming of his Son is one of the foundational principles of the Spoke Verity Podcast. He preached repentance to enter the Kingdom of God. He called out the religious establishment of the day as hypocrites. He stewarded the grace of our God, before grace, meaning Jesus, entered the earth. His example of humility and fidelity to the one who gave him his stewardship position, must be reflective in the life of every believer in Jesus Christ, with their stewardship position.

— As Men of God, how do we continue in faithful stewardship within the Kingdom of God? [40:20]

  • Our 43rd conversation concluded with another “how to” question, where we shared how we continue in Faithful Stewardship in Gods Kingdom. Faithfulness can be demonstrated in the consistency with which you carry out your daily tasks. Your commitment to the one who gave you the assignment is evident by the manifestations in your life. You do this by adhering to 2 Timothy 3:14-15: But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. We must keep God in the forefront our thoughts as he, by his Spirit, directs us in all things pertaining to our Stewardship in his Kingdom.
