Beyond defining love, the Bible also gives us the characteristics of love in clear terms as listed in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a and goes even further to show us how to walk in love.
As believers in Jesus Christ, it is incumbent upon us to not only help guide the world to the true definition of love but to also live out the commandment as given to us by our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in John 13:34-35.

- Based on Biblical truth, it is impossible to separate the “what” from the “who” when answering this question, as evident in 1 John 4:8,16. While there may be different expressions and manifestations of love, it is crucial to emphasize that God is love, and He demonstrated this love through the ultimate sacrifice of His Son on the Cross for our sins.
